The quest to find the perfect eye cream – light, line-reducing, not astronomical in price tag – is a long one, but Tatcha hooked me in with its bathroom-enhancing packaging and elegant name: The Silk Peony. Its intriguing blend of Japanese white peony, silk and whey proteins and Hadasei-3 (a combination of double-fermented Akita rice, Uji green tea and Okinawa algae) is potent stuff, but, for me, it’s the dinky golden spoon used for application that feels especially decadent at bedtime. Don’t sleep on this one.
